Diese Datenschutzerklärung informiert über die Verarbeitung personenbezogener Daten in der App Stacks (Tracking von Serien, Filmen und Büchern).

2. Welche Daten verarbeitet werden

Konto (optional)

Die App ist ohne Konto nutzbar (Gastmodus, Daten bleiben lokal auf dem Gerät). Bei Registrierung verarbeiten wir:

• E-Mail-Adresse (bei Registrierung per E-Mail)
• Anmelde-Kennung von Apple oder Google (bei „Mit Apple anmelden“ / „Mit Google anmelden“; wir erhalten keine Passwörter)
• Deine Medienliste: gespeicherte Serien, Filme, Bücher, Bewertungen, Notizen, Tags, Fortschritt und Einstellungen

Diese Daten werden bei unserem Auftragsverarbeiter Supabase (supabase.com) gespeichert, um sie zwischen deinen Geräten zu synchronisieren. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (Vertragserfüllung).

Push-Benachrichtigungen (optional)

Wenn du Benachrichtigungen erlaubst, speichern wir einen Geräte-Push-Token (Expo Push Service), um dich z. B. über neue Folgen zu informieren. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO (Einwilligung). Die Einwilligung ist jederzeit in den Systemeinstellungen widerrufbar.

E-Mails zum Konto

Mails wie das Zurücksetzen des Passworts verschicken wir über Resend (resend.com, Versand aus der EU-Region Irland). Dabei werden deine E-Mail-Adresse und der Inhalt der Mail übermittelt. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (Vertragserfüllung).

Absturzberichte

Zur Stabilitätsverbesserung nutzen wir Sentry (sentry.io). Bei Fehlern werden technische Daten übermittelt (Gerätemodell, Betriebssystem, App-Version, Fehlerkontext, pseudonyme Nutzer-ID). Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (berechtigtes Interesse an einer stabilen App).

Mediendatenbanken

Für die Suche nach Serien, Filmen und Büchern werden Anfragen über unseren Server an The Movie Database (TMDB) und Google Books weitergeleitet. Dabei wird dein Suchbegriff übermittelt, jedoch keine Kontodaten.

Kamera (optional)

Die Kamera wird ausschließlich lokal zum Scannen von Buch-Barcodes (ISBN) verwendet. Es werden keine Fotos gespeichert oder übertragen.

Diese Website

Diese Website wird über GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA) ausgeliefert. Beim Aufruf verarbeitet GitHub technisch notwendige Daten wie deine IP-Adresse, Datum und Uhrzeit sowie die aufgerufene Seite, um sie auszuliefern und vor Missbrauch zu schützen; die IP-Adresse wird dabei zu Sicherheitszwecken gespeichert. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (berechtigtes Interesse an einer sicheren, erreichbaren Website).

Die Website setzt keine Cookies, nutzt kein Tracking und lädt nichts von Drittanbietern — Schrift und Bilder liegen auf demselben Server. Deine Sprachwahl (Deutsch/Englisch) wird nur im lokalen Speicher deines Browsers abgelegt.

3. Speicherdauer

Kontodaten und Medienliste bleiben gespeichert, bis du dein Konto löschst. Die Löschung ist direkt in der App möglich (Profil → Konto löschen) und entfernt dein Konto sowie alle zugehörigen Daten dauerhaft und unwiderruflich von unseren Servern.

4. Deine Rechte (DSGVO)

Du hast das Recht auf Auskunft (Art. 15), Berichtigung (Art. 16), Löschung (Art. 17), Einschränkung der Verarbeitung (Art. 18), Datenübertragbarkeit (Art. 20) und Widerspruch (Art. 21). Deine Daten kannst du jederzeit in der App als JSON exportieren (Profil → Export). Außerdem hast du das Recht auf Beschwerde bei einer Datenschutz-Aufsichtsbehörde.

Mit Auftragsverarbeitern bestehen Verträge nach Art. 28 DSGVO. Bei einer Übermittlung in Drittländer (z. B. USA) erfolgt diese auf Grundlage von EU-Standardvertragsklauseln.

6. Änderungen

Wir passen diese Datenschutzerklärung an, wenn sich die App oder die Rechtslage ändert. Die aktuelle Fassung ist stets unter dieser URL abrufbar.

2. What data is processed

Account (optional)

The app can be used without an account (guest mode; data stays local on the device). If you register, we process:

• Email address (when registering by email)
• Sign-in identifier from Apple or Google (for “Sign in with Apple” / “Sign in with Google”; we never receive passwords)
• Your media list: saved series, films, books, ratings, notes, tags, progress and settings

This data is stored with our processor Supabase (supabase.com) in order to sync it across your devices. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).

Push notifications (optional)

If you allow notifications, we store a device push token (Expo Push Service) so we can tell you about new episodes, for example. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). You can withdraw consent at any time in your system settings.

Account emails

Emails such as password resets are sent via Resend (resend.com, sent from the EU region Ireland). Your email address and the content of the email are transmitted. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).

Crash reports

To improve stability we use Sentry (sentry.io). When an error occurs, technical data is transmitted (device model, operating system, app version, error context, pseudonymous user ID). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a stable app).

Media databases

To search for series, films and books, requests are forwarded through our server to The Movie Database (TMDB) and Google Books. Your search term is transmitted; no account data is.

Camera (optional)

The camera is used only on device, to scan book barcodes (ISBN). No photos are stored or transmitted.

This website

This website is served by GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA). When you visit it, GitHub processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, date and time and the page requested, in order to deliver it and protect it from abuse; the IP address is stored for security purposes. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, reachable website).

The website sets no cookies, uses no tracking and loads nothing from third parties — the font and images are served from the same server. Your language choice (German/English) is kept only in your browser’s local storage.

3. Retention

Account data and your media list are kept until you delete your account. Deletion is available directly in the app (Profile → Delete account) and removes your account and all associated data permanently and irreversibly from our servers.

4. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You can export your data as JSON in the app at any time (Profile → Export). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
